You show up late, dont call sched, or scheduling just feels like giving them out, etc.. sched puts SD on your line, have to call and talk to a CP to explain your case and they will mark it EC (excused) if you have a valid reason.
Or if you show up early and wait at the gate for your plane to arrive. You may get an SD
