A couple of thoughts? I am not really taking a side here, I am looking for feedback so don't crap in my mouth please.

How is this different then Skywest say flying crj700's vs. Us flying 170's. I know they don't but if the deal were to replace crj 200's with 700's would that be any less of a screw job.

I think Bedford as protecting the shareholder by getting these airplanes flying, that in the end is his job. Like it or not. I'd guess that he does not see the Midwest pilots coming to an agreement by June -10. Hense not a problem with our scope. I had not seen it here but the deal is a 10 year Wet lease/Dry lease option.

If I were a midwest pilot I suppose I would already be ****ed but this isn't much different then Midwest resizing their fleet. They certainly would not be able to do it this quickly by purchasing new E jets so wet leasing them until they can get up and running is really the only option. Would I like getting bumped from an 80 or a 71 to the ejet, no. If I was getting a competitve wage I most likely prefer it then my company folding or giving away my flying more then they haave with skywest.

Just my thoughts.
