I have figured out that long call reserve is literally hit or miss on a month to month basis. I have been bidding reserve for the last 4 months or so just to be at home most nights. The 1st month I flew 6 hours, then the next month 81, then 13, then 74, and now i haven't flown in 3 weeks. I can't complain but still hate how they assign trips based on days available. Exactly! It really doesn't matter what the hell you bid, if you want to be fancy with your 4 day groups, 2 day groups or whatever, go for it! We all know, bid to fly doesn't do jack around here, except give you 6 ready reserves, and no, it won't give you more trips at the beginning when they assign windows, because they do it on days available! We also know that seniority doesn't mean jack around here! I have been bidding random days with some weekends off, and I've been FLYING on average ~60 hrs/month and CREDITING ~80 hrs. If you think about it, that's not reserve. I think this month will be a different story and I will start changing this up a bit as I am pretty fed up with this place.
