Off topic but does anyone know what happened with that F16 at CVG yesterday? There was a bunch of fire trucks and it looked like it was stuck on 18R.
Saw it come in a land when I was at the maint hanger. It landed 18C with the other F16 flying next to him until almost halfway down 18C. The other F16 circled and landed on 18L. The one that had the emergency stopped straight on 18C just past the crossing of 27 with a lot of emer vehicles nearby, but none approached. The pilot sat there with the engine still running for a few minutes. By that time, it became non-exciting anymore and I had other things to do and left.
The 2nd F16 was a 2-seater, so I am sure they both had a ride home.
