No one said you are incapable of changing. If you haven't pushed yourself until now, do it. This career is within the reach of many who work hard, endure the sacrifices (I should capitalize that) and push themselves to always be better than the previous day. If you haven't worked hard in school, start now. Trust me, I did fine in college but looking back wished I had studied harder on certain things and drank less beer at times. The beer will always be there. The time to prove yourself won't.
Also, if you want to get to a major you need a 4 year degree. I don't know of any major that hires with less than that.
