Hello,

Had a quick question regarding UALs policy on enabling the COM1 radio on the in-flight entertainment system as channel 9.

As stated by the crew, this is only enabled at the pilots discretion. But I'm curious, why would a CA turn this off? If PAX are asking for it, what would be the rationale to not do this?
