You make a good point about people complaining about getting no info from ALPA, then complaining when they do send something.
Let me make a comparison:
Go to McDonalds in Concourse C. For a while you'll wait and wait, not getting any service. Then, when they finally do call you up, you get something that vaguely resembles anything other than a hamburger.
So, which is better? No service? Or terrible service that doesn't do anyone any good?
I'm not taking the company's side or alpa's side. Our company gives us information. Its not always completely accurate, but it is usually within reason. Although it may not hold up in the long run. Our union is guilty of just the same thing, but sometimes they go a bit outside of reason (refer back to the security "spy" camera.
Next ALPA is going to not recommend going to casinos due to the high amount of "spy" cameras on the ceiling. Maybe "big brother" IRS is watching to see how much we win so they can audit us later. C'mon, get real.
Anyway, don't worry if anyone gets terminated for not checking out on Maestro. The union will get you your job back. They get people's jobs back for blatently violating company policy and safety standards. This is nothing.
