Our MEC Chairmen had a meeting with JS today and appearently JS was uninformed on proposals that ALPA has been giving to DS. DS has been keeping stuff from JS. Also our MEC has been working with the Delta MEC over the past month or so. This is definitely a step in the right direction. I think one of the top areas of interest is DS and what he is doing to this company.
What kind of proposals? For what? What is their to negotiate right now? What is there for the MEC to be working on right now with the Delta MEC? Seems to me the most important thing to "negotiate" right now is voluntary leaves, like the flight attendants got (and lets face it, it is a heck of a lot easier to replace an FA outright vs. a pilot) and we don't seem to be getting anywhere with that...
