Mesaba is reaching 1200 total pilots, the top 100 already elected to not flow, that leaves an estimated 1100 pilots to flow. To my understanding there are 9-12 spots allocated to Mesaba in each NWA class. If they do 2 classes a month that is about 20 a month, in the best case scenario. The math would say that Mesaba will flow 240 pilots a year, again in the best case scenario assuming there is constant hiring with 2 classes a month. I think the flowee also needs 30 months in the left seat. I could be very wrong on this anyone have anything else can add or correct?
They need to be employed by mesaba for 30 months, and must be a captain. There is no length as a captain requirement. The top 500 pilots at mesaba meet these requirements as long as they are captains.
