You have to remember that a merged list would mean furlough. Also, I think most ALPA carriers have a limit to the amount of time you remain on the list while furloughed. With that in mind, I'd re-think the age thing because it won't matter. I too was with you in my thinking until someone pointed out the furlough time limit thing. So I think we (junior Comair guys and gals) would be in a world of hurt if it were to happen.
