includes the examiner's fee and lodging; so all told, at least $800 - $900 less. 2-3 training flights (they'll even pick up the tab on another extra training flight, if you need it), and check ride all done in a Seneca. It has a glass EHSI too, which helped me after not having flown anything pure steam-gauged in over 6 years. They've used the same examiner for years; the checkride was cake. You know EXACTLY what's gonna happen on it.
