I think they swapped a few tails around, but didn't change the plan of storing birds for peak 2008. UPS knew they were going to stick the C check birds in storage as well. Passed through SAT awhile back and chatted with the UPS Manager who told me the extra DC-8's coming out for a possible DHL deal was the bigger challenge due to the extra heavy checks that were deferred for cost reasons prior to storage. Makes sense, only do the check if you need the airframe.
