Why? Why are we so resistant to turboprops?? These are very advanced aircraft that can beat a crj to FL250 and can give the exact same time per leg for anything under a few hundred miles. You get 20 more seats than a 50 for half of the fuel burn. I know alot of people think these aircraft are beneath them. I hope comair management and the comair MEC don't think this way.
I would gladly switch from the 50 seater to the Q400. I'd like to think that since the Q400 is a 70seater it would pay the same as the CRJ700/900.
