They hired a bunch of guys with lower times when they were having trouble finding qualified applicants, now that many pilots with former 121 experience are on the street they can pick those that have PROVEN they can get through 121 training. You are not as qualified with the current industry situation (many guys with turbine time on the street), its all timing and you are on the back side of the hiring wave. You might need to get 1,000 hrs multiengine to get an interview. Some people will get interviews with 500 hrs and some will have to build thousands, its all about timing....
