Last thing I'll add about resumes is that you should make sure that the experience you list on the resume actually applies to the job you're applying for. I used to make the mistake of confusing a resume with a job application. The job application gives you the opportunity to list all your previous work experience. The resume is your ticket in the door and therefore should reflect only the experience/education that applies to the actual job your applying for. Obviously, it's purpose is to sell you and get you in the door....just like a TV ad. If you can limit it to a page....great, but that's not as necessary as keeping the resume neat/clean and easy to read.

Unfortunately, the APC resume templates don't appear to be working any longer. Try emailing the site to see if they still have copies because I found them extremely helpful.
