I am sure the canidate is a very smart guy/girl and can and will get through training. I am have been through 2 airline ground schools and might be on number 3 soon if the economy keeps slipping but to say 25 multiengine hours is enough to fly a CRJ900 is ignorant thinking. Why don't we let interns perform brain surgery because they will do it for next to nothing? We might have to change our way of thinking on topics like this if we want to turn our careers around. The CRJ900 is at a regional airline and taking MAINLINE routes away from the higher paying jobs that we all want from pilots with just over a day of multiengine experience for salaries less than garbage men.......I say again wow.
