I am not faulting the person that got hired, I am faulting the industry and pilots (including myself) for letting it get this far. Congrats on the job and good luck in training dude......I am so tired of you guys trying to stand up for new hires with little time. I would NOT have turned down the job if I were in that position (I had 400 hrs multi when I got hired) because I was and didn't. I don't think it is good for the future of OUR careers for pilots with 25 hrs to fly jets. If you think that this is a step in the right direction then good for you but I think this is a serious problem.....Most of my blame goes to mainline guys that gave up scope many years ago but again I don't fault this guy for taking the job so you guys can stop getting so worked up, we are all in this together.
