If you think he's a tool, then I have to say you're an idiot if you can't figure the difference between a turboprop time and Jet (Pure/Turbojet/Turbofan) time. Many airlines in the world actually require you to diffrentiate between 'truboprop' and 'trubofan/jet' time.

One very popular airline actually won't even give you an interview if you had thousands of hours of turbofan PIC time unless you have at least few thousand hours of turbofan (jet) time. Comprende?
