Last 900 Capt I could find was hired Aug '05.

The contract determines when a SAAB Capt. can upgrade to the 900 Capt. If you jumped to the SAAB right away when you could, you are seat locked for 2 years from the FED ride.

It should be noted that there are some very senior SAAB guys starting to transition to the 900 now and it may be some time before real jr people get into it. However, if there was any place I am wrong most it is upgrade time.

They have been releasing seat locks in the SAAB (both FO and Capt) to get people to move to the 900. We only have a handful of 900's left to be delivered so the next bids for it could go very senior. Especially as the guys in the 200 get closer to their seat locks being released.

Generally FO's upgrade to the SAAB first unless we are getting aircraft. Then its a free or all.

Now if the Merger goes through things could get very crazy again.
