I hope it is true, but they are just Rumors!! If it would be true they would have started canceling some of the downgrades. Also, we lost 900 hours on the 50 in CVG in November. Freedom is all over the place here and is picking up more flying next month, along with Pinnacle. No increase in flying whatsoever. As of right now I was told we are at 63 airframes and the model stays that way into 09', so no airframes either. I was told that there is mitigation on the furlough's with flex schedules, cola's, voluntary furough's etc... So if anything there might be an extension but unfortunately the furloughs are still happening.
The news is there is no news and Comair is pretty much at idle with the consesus being wait and see at the time of merger for DAL and NWA.
