I guess I can point out that the sim was easier to fly than I expected (easier than a frasca I'd say, but to each their own), what with the analog DME and an airspeed indicator in mph. The sim guy was pretty laid back which also made things more relaxed. They just want to see you fly around, do steep turns, some VOR work fly an ILS, go missed and hold at an NDB. It's a little herky-jerky but if you make small adjustments everything should work out ok.
