I did not say that Delta would shut Comair down based only on the fact that we have a very expensive payroll, though it is something that can be handled very easily during a restructure. Aside from the expensive guys at the top, we have expensive guys all around. 5 and 6 year FOs does not help a regional airline in terms of being competitive. Also, there will always be bad blood between Delta and Comair. Not saying that the strike shouldn't have happened, but it did and it was a major blow to Delta. I believe Delta will drive Comair into the ground out of spite if nothing else.

I also believe if there were larger plans for Comair we would have a better coach and not some crusty has been and a used car salesman. JS is simply making us a bed to take our final nap.
