FO's are not locked from upgrading when their seniority can hold a Captain position. FO's are locked for 2 or 3 years from bidding another FO's seat in another aircraft (I think 2 years).

Captains are locked for 2 years from switching into another Captains seat no matter what.

Company can relax seatlocks at their discrection as they did last summer for SAAB FO's moving to CRJ900 FO's and SAAB Capt into 900 Capt.

I suspect unless something really breaks loose after the merger, I suspect the seatlock won't be much of an issue.

I think there is a lock before the you flow up to NWA/Delta but I am not sure what that is.
