True story, I had a captain try to put DCT in the FMS one time. A good pilot, good guy, thousands and thousands of hours of experience. No stupid questions, if you don't know ask. No one knows all the answers, we all do stupid things.
Everyone went through the training, regardless of your experience before Mesaba, I think everyone has seen what it is like to shoot approaches to minimums.
