50 seat flying might make money today, but most likely it won't tomorrow. Notice how OPEC stated this morning that they are going to cut production? The demand is less at the moment, because we are in shambles over the economy. Once the trend starts to swing back the other way, we will start driving more again and oil will start moving back up. People are already liable to start driving more just based on the lower prices at the pump. That alone will raise oil again.

If 50 seat flying makes money and we should pick it up anywhere we can get it, then why are there so many of our aircraft parked and pilots furloughed? Wouldn't Delta be puting those airframes in the air?
