After the DL/NW merger Compass and Mesaba will be DCI carriers. Our 2007 TA had stipulations in it for Comair to receive a percentage of "unawarded aircraft" that started at 40% in 2007 and decreased in 10% increments each year. So while we bicker about ASAP and launch ad hominems at the same targets each day I'm reminded of a playground fight: "I know you are but what am I....my dad is bigger than your dad....am too...are not..."

Those are some very good points that I hadn't thought about. I wonder if they are trying to do some pre-merger balancing based on knowledge that they may finally have to award some flying to Comair at some point. I can imagine it must be hard for you Comair guys to think anything positive after so many times getting your hopes up when nothing seems to materialize. I would just love to see something good happen for the pilots at Comair!!!
