You have a point too. That's why I think no regional carrier will have such a large presence as comair once did. Especially in 1 hub like comair did in cvg. Everybody is in CVG, and ATL. It is going to be very interesting where everyone is shifted after the merger.
This has already been proven wrong by ASA. Their contract says they get 90% of all ATL DCI ops..
And look at skywest in slc, I don't think hardly ANYONE aside skywest and daddy d go in there. I think it speaks measures about deltas feelings on comair, when it's us and freedom sharing bases in Cvg and jfk.
Steve B talked to my recurrent ground the other day and it wasn't the usual company Kool aid. He was practically pleading with us about on time performance criteria so we "look good for the rest of the world". And admitted to all of us that comairs ENTIRE business model is based on mesa gong under. There is no plan if mesa survives and their delta flying sticks. Listening to him was like listening to someone say their last words.
