Another great trick for the E6B that I used when learning was that I found the small numbers on the E6B hard to read so I went out and bought the one that flight schools use.

It was great being that it was four feet tall and real easy on the eyes. Once you managed to get it into the passenger seat of the 152 it was smooth sailing from there
