Others (Cal, USAir) haven't wanted to merge with United after seeing their books for a very good reason. They are in bad shape.

I'll be watching this unfold as well.
You cant set performance numbers and then ask us to cancell flights so that you may have the slot and then count those against us....well I quess you can...but in contract law this will not hold up. United doesnt want us gone. Our numbers are good and they have increased our flying.
