Okay, we understand that you have never wanted to work for SWA and I will take the opportunity to thank you personally. Unless you were much happier at an ealier age I seriously doubt you would have been hired anyway. I think many on this forum would disagree that you are not a disgruntled pilot.
Actually I am a pretty upbeat guy. Just because I don't buy the "SWA is the ONLY airline to be at" mentality, it makes me a disgruntled pilot? I'm extremely happy at CAL, and have enjoyed being there. I've also enjoyed the other carriers I've been at. It's interesting how many have lit into the "pay for training" is wrong BS, yet going out and buying a B737 type for the CHANCE of getting an interview with SWA is quit alright. I don't buy into that type of thinking. Many think I despise SWA, and they're wrong. I have a lot of friends working there and I think it's a great airline, just not for me. I'm sure a lot of guys who got on at SWA wouldn't make it at CAL, and vice versa. But hey, everyone can't be at SWA, just like everyone can't be at CAL or DAL. That's the nature of the game. And BTW, you're certainly welcome. I much prefer laying on the beach in SXM on my overnights, than overnighting in OKC.
