328Dude- I think you're right on with your last post. I have given it a lot of thought about the mentality in here and how quickly we bash each other and each other's airlines. I have come up with one conclusion about that. I just think we are all an extremely competitive and proud bunch or professionals. When somebody attacks us or our company, we're more than likely going to go after them.

I do apologize for the title of this thread. I chose some poor words and should have done a better job of brainstorming on how to properly convey what I was trying to ask in here. I do appreciate the facts and figures that folks have given about cost indexes from you FOMs etc...that's all great information and it has taught me some things about SWA that I did not know.

My military background has taught me a very important lesson about humility. In a debrief when you're getting told everything you did wrong, you don't take it personally, you nod your head, acknowledge it and learn from those lessons.

Thank you all for keeping this thread somewhat civilized and professional. It seemed to last longer and has more valuable information than I thought would come out.

........and with that I think we have come to a useful conclusion to this thread. Thanks to all of those who had useful and meaningful comments to add; and thank you pelican for learning from the debrief.
