Mesaba has a newly certified CRJ 900 simulator that is capable of training in both (Mesaba and Freedom) cockpit configurations.
There are (approximately) seven recently trained CRJ simulator instructors.
Classroom are being configured for CRJ systems classes for large numbers of pilots.
Mesaba is hiring in large numbers.
Is any other Delta/NWA regional carrier doing all of these ?
If nothing happens (no announcement) it's one big waste of money.
Maybe Mesaba is making a move to start doing training in-house? I don't believe that they can have huge fleet expansion without the addition of the mighty E170 to the fleet.......that will make them a real airline.
