Yes I've been to ATL before and each time I was in and out like clockwork. I know it can get backed up, especially in the summer. When I said its not at capacity, I didn't mean they could stand to add another 100 flights per day. But the question of int'l expansion to Asia came up which would at the most be half a dozen flights maybe over several years time. Oh and Im from New York so seeing JFK completely choked off every day is "at capacity" in my eyes. ATL does very well with its 5 runways and end-around taxiway to keep things moving.

No new runway planned, but both a new international and domestic terminal are under construction.

I'm really interested to see whats going to happen in MSP...they really need another runway there, but there's no where to put it...they fly just under what detroit does traffic wise and do it on half the runways...17-35 is just used when the wind favors it...not to mention they're going to be working on both runways(redoing the centers for both) this upcoming summer and installing the new lights that DFW has to minimize incursions...talk about a Charlie Foxtrot

You realize they gave your airline the flying it has? The same flying that pays your payheck?
Ever heard the phrase "don't (blank), where you eat?"
It's not Delta's job to make your regional succeed.
