For those that don't get em..

I have the proposal if anyone really wants it.

Fellow Comair Pilots,

It is with shock and a total loss of respect for the Comair Management team that I write to you. Today Comair Management issued a memo that confirms the potential for an additional 120 furloughs in January 2009. These 120 additional furloughs would go back approximately to hires from December 2006.

This information is shared at a time when Management is touting completion percentage and performance numbers but yet is unable to substantiate its value and the value of the Comair team to their supervisors in Atlanta. Instead of making their own company successful our management's top people have put a business plan of counting on failure of another group their top priority. Comair has a wonderful employee group but a pitiful management group that will continue to hurt this airline if changes are not made in the initiatives we take. I tell you this not to get a rise out of you but so you will understand the issues at hand and make informed decisions about your future.

Your ALPA representatives continue to attempt to negotiate with management a plan that will address these future furloughs as well as our current furlough group. As addressed in the Chairman's email sent yesterday ALPA has presented the company with a mitigation plan which would save jobs. Regretfully the company management team is only interested in concessionary means which provides little relief for furloughed pilots.

As future information becomes available I will update you as soon as possible. I have attached for your review a copy of the August Mitigation Plan sent to the company and copied on the Chairman's email as well as company memos posted on EPIC regarding our future fleet and staffing plans.

If I can answer any additional questions please feel free to contact me.

Fraternally,

Michael Perrizo
