As far as NWA, because the way I see it they are "Delta Operated Aircraft" due to the merger, I called reservations, listed non-rev for myself and both my kids, got a confirmation #, went to their kiosk, typed in their confirmation #, received our seat requests and boarded the aircraft. No BS yield fare required.
