If the fence is cut, allowing individuals who do not have the right to access the Democrat lot, then the company should fix the problem. Has anyone brought this issue up to their ALPA representative? ACP?

To be honest, I haven't seen the Democrat lot in months and am unaware of where the fence is cut. Someone with knowledge should make the appropriate contacts to the aforementioned individuals.

Now, if a pilot is injured/attacked because of the security (or lack therefore of) the fence, then FedEx is responsible because the company "knew or should have known" about the deficiency. This should be something we want to avoid, including a "wait and see" approach and *hope* that no one is injured/attacked.
