Well, I don't think your vote will count since you are in management. You started this thread to entice people to send their resume to PenAir back when they were desperate for pilots. Smells fishy to me.

Why is it that all you management guys are so scared of the pilots having some representation? Life at PenAir isn't that bad, but you NEVER know what will happen. The actions of Mgmt in the past 6 months has been nothing less than deplorable. Alot of the guys fired (no reason given) were at PenAir for a long time (many were there for 5+ years). These guys were friends of mine, and I am ****ed off about it. They too thought that PenAir would do the right thing when times were tough, so they were content to stay where they were. Hiring new guys mere months before firing senior guys is just not excusable.
Just shameful.
Vote Union!!

Only a management tool, or a person drunk on PenAir kool-aid would actually consider a life-long career at PenAir. Without some sort of contract, maybe you will be the in the next group that is convenient to fire. Then where will you be? Then how will you feed your family? Some good pilots are asking themselves that question right now.
