I've just edited the first image and cut out the years 2005-2007. Easier to see the shift since the first year is now 2008 in each chart.
The guys now listed inside the first 4-5 yrs of the second chart (the shift) are guys that are gonna turn 60 during those years, and were accounted for already in the older charts and are now being counted again - these are the guys that came back from the panel! Any other differences are pilots hired since the 2005 chart and/or left early (retired, fired, died, quit, etc) - mostly additions due to hiring.
