I don't know the relative longevity of the Mesaba pilot group dbo861, but I don't understand how the strategy employed at Mesaba during a time when pilot hiring was relatively strong at the major airline level is going to work during a time of global economic contraction.

Those who are furloughed are the cheapest labor on the property.

Those who remain are not able to find other flying jobs during a time when the economy does not support expansion. Certainly there will be a handful who will say "enough is enough" and go pursue a career that has a higher value in society, but I don't see the conditions in place for a mass exodus of pilots earning $80k or more per year at the present, or near future.
