I am also starting the UVSC global aviation program. I think it's a good idea if you want to be able to flight instruct full time or move onto regionals and finish a degree at the same time. If you have good grades in the past you should ask them about the academic merit scholarship. They will send you the form and you fill it out...no essays needed. I got $2800 for the year and my gpa from previous college was probably around 3.8. I think all you need is a 3.2 or better. Tuition is a hell of a lot cheaper than most state schools too.
