Well, back in October, I heard they hired a flight instructor with 8 hours ME into a 900 class. Don't know anything else about the applicant or his/her connections. Heard all this from a DPE for the flight school who is also a senior captain at a legacy carrier.

Apply and you might not get the interview...don't apply and you definitely won't get the interview.

That being said, my buddy recently applied with 500TT 20ME with a Commercial ME, SE, Instrument...was also finishing a degree. He got turned down for an interview. I guess it's a tossup.
