There is certainly some common ground since under code share this is a pretty easy end run around Delta's Section 1 and limits on the large RJ's.
I'm thinking they have a plan in the works for just this reason. Maybe the elusive 100-seater will be flown by Republic under the Midwest banner and we'll "code-share" with them. I think this Midwest deal could end up being a mess for the Delta guys. DALPA and NWALPA should have required that Midwest be integrated into the whole mess while we were at it.
