A new pilot wannabe isnt thinking about Frank Lorenzo (doubt he even knows who the guy is) or the busuiness side of aviation. THey are thinking about soaring above the clouds at mach .7. Lets keep it in perspective. You olde hands know the industry and a lot of you have become disgruntled. Dont ruin it for the young eager minds that dont know the industry. I am an airline pilot wannabee If I dont do that I may go into law enforcement flying or teach at a university. The oint is to have a plan and a backup plan. But I try to encourage everyone. That sdoesnt mean I blow sunshine. Of course you have to know the good wit hthe bad, but it seems on this site there is more talk about bad than good. ANd I know its not true based on my converstaions with actual major airline pilots.
