I would call them and ask them for a copy of their map. Then I would run it through my chain to *inform* them that I was going to start preaching this to my [your] students. Then, when in the area, if I heard another aircraft check on freq I would contact them and ask them where they were planning on working and/or tell them where I was working. If nothing else - over time it may just become standard practice because everyone is doing it.

Good point. Since the chief pilot is always busy, I asked the assistant chief to get it. He said that he would. If he does not have it in the morning, I will indeed get it myself.
