Not sure if any of this is true, but it could very well be that our ASAP certificate or agreement now belongs to compass or a new holding company. Think about how quiet this MEC has been over the past two months. All they have said is that we are hiring new lawyers for the merger possibility. ASAP isn't owned by anyone, and there is no certificate or agreement to buy. The "agreement" ceased to exist the day the union walked away from the table. I doubt, though, that the FAA will be in any hurry to start a program at Comair again (negotiate a new agreement) with the current union leadership. Why go through the pains of starting the program again only to have the union walk away first time they don't like the way DS looks at them?
