Here's something that's floated around for a while. There might be a "merger" with Mesaba, in which that'll be the name retained. And with Mesaba just because their operating costs are lower than Comair's. Now, with it does happen, would that nulify the Comair contract?. If so, then it makes sense. If it doesn't, then what's the point?.
Personally with either scenario, I don't forsee a recall for those of us furlough for quite sometime. Time to move on.
Your wrong...please look at America West v USAir for what will probably happen with seniority integration. It will happen like that and be jsut as ugly.
Do not listen to our seior captains who say it will be DOH merger, that is BS. Do not confuse Seniority with Longevity
A merger would be relative seniority, with people furloughed put on the very bottom of the list.
