I thought I would try and ask again, what is the training schedule like prior to going to the sim? (ie. 1 week indoc, 2 weeks systems?) Do you typically have a week off or so prior to going to sim training? Is it recommended to have a car in MSP during initial groundschool or can you get away with the hotel transportation and maybe renting a car a few times to get supplies? Thanks.
In the Nov 3rd class we had one week of INDOC, followed by 7 days of general systems, and then 7 days of systems which is computer based and self paced. We had ground school on thanksgiving and had 3 days off before sim. Two people had a month off before sims, but a majority of the people only had a few days. You can get by without a car, the hotel shuttle will take you pretty much any place you want to go, I also rented a car from enterpirse when I was there for a weekend at 11 bucks a day so it wasnt too bad. It's a lot easier to just use the hotel shuttle though.
