I mentioned the declaration of independence, not as law but as the founding philisoophy of our nation. Mostly as an argument to give illegals due process.


As far as I know the suspects were British citizens arrested in England. They should be treated under the law as such. For a government to suspend law during an undeclared "war" is a scarry idea to me.

I am not some hippie, I thin we should build walls on the borders and execute captured jihadists on the battlefield. But, citizens of nations should be treated as such when being tried at home.
