I mentioned the declaration of independence, not as law but as the founding philisoophy of our nation. Mostly as an argument to give illegals due process.

As far as I know the suspects were British citizens arrested in England. They should be treated under the law as such. For a government to suspend law during an undeclared "war" is a scarry idea to me.

I am not some hippie, I thin we should build walls on the borders and execute captured jihadists on the battlefield. But, citizens of nations should be treated as such when being tried at home.

These people are scumbags, and need to be eliminated, but if a precedent is set for denying "religious extremists" due process, we start down a very slippery slope.

You do not pay taxes for your rights. The government does not hand them out at its discression. Rights are bestowed upon us at birth by God. Governments are instituted among men to preserve these rights.
I understand what you are trying to say here, but last time I checked, the Bible says nothing even close to resembling the Declaration of Independence or the Constitutional Rights that we have.
