You're dreaming. The big difference is that surgeons are few and far between and their services are in huge demand. What pilots do is not that hard to come by. And by that I mean there is an endless supply of qualified pilots. I would have signed a lifetime contract for 100k/year when I came out of the USAF a few years ago. 500K per year! I wish. We do have some captains making close to 400k and many well over 300k. But then again the pax business hasn't made money consistently in a long time.
